Private Jet Services Group Makes Christmas Come Early to New Hampshire SPCA

The New Hampshire SPCA would like to thank all of the individuals and corporations that have contributed to help the animals in our care this year.

Corporate Gifts Bolster Year End Giving For The Animals

Private Jet Services Group (PJS), one of North America's largest air charter services firms, announced today a donation to New Hampshire Seacoast's Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA). The gift allows NHSPCA to start work on a planned isolation center, a much needed space where contagious and seriously ill animals receive care and treatment.

Wayne Whicher, Financial Controller and Director of Corporate Giving for Private Jet Group, which includes Private Jet Services Group, Private Jet Commercial Group, and Private Jet Management Group stated, "As the end of Fiscal Year 2011 neared, PJS wanted to identify a local organization in need, and help make their holiday wishes come true."

Sheila Ryan, Director of Development and Marketing for New Hampshire SPCA, writes, "New Hampshire SPCA proudly cares for between 3,000-4,000 animals each year in our open admission, unlimited stay facility. We are committed to finding a forever home for every adoptable animal that comes through our doors. Our adoption rate is now 97%, one of the highest rates in the entire country!" Ryan continued, "One of our biggest challenges is keeping the animals in the shelter healthy. Some weeks we have over 350 animals to care for and their health and wellbeing is the number one priority. This year, we identified a need to improve our facility’s ability to care for very sick or very young animals. These two groups have extreme needs, both in terms of medical care and also time to heal or grow. Your gift will truly be transformational to our organization and help us save even more animals lives."

Greg Raiff, CEO of Private Jet Services Group and the Private Jet Group of Companies added, "The care and well being of animals is a precious cause - one which tends to get overlooked during sour economic times. My family and I are pleased to have this chance to assist NHSPCA in their mission of caring for thousands of loving, affectionate animals."

The Private Jet Market Outlook 2012: A Supply Side Analysis is available

Private Jet Services Group is pleased to announce the availability of our Private Jet Market Outlook 2012. This report is a Supply Side Analysis of the state of private aviation

Private Jet Market Outlook 2012: A Supply Side Analysis

With 9/11 over a decade in the rearview mirror, with flat wages, and maintenance costs stable, the big levers in business aviation costs are related to aircraft supply, demand for flying, and how asset managers view variable flying as a contributor to fixed overhead costs. Having squeezed every last penny of out Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance and Insurance (ACMI) costs, the 2008 market downturn made it painfully clear to aviation departments around the country that further hourly cost savings could only be achieved by increasing utilization. In short, with fixed costs remaining stable, the only way for aircraft owners to offset their liability is to charter more.

Therefore, this report looks to the state of business jet supply and demand to gleam insight to the pricing decisions set by asset managers and what this means to charter customers.

As the economy continues to slowly rebound, PJS offers our assessment of the state of private aviation both in 2012 and over the long term. By examining the current levels of demand for private aviation and usage trends, we have based our status report on the following quantifiable factors:

  • Aircraft Production Delivery
  • Global Demand
  • Availability
  • Current State of the Commercial Airlines
  • Efficiency of Business Aviation

In particular, PJS believes that growth opportunity exists in the charter segment of the overall market and the data indicates that as the aviation market returns to pre-recession levels, the passenger aircraft charter market will be a "Buyer's Market" through the remainder of this decade.
